Agnosticism is a philosophical statement on what sort of knowledge you think is attainable. One can be a theistic agnostic or an atheistic agnostic. Agnosticism per se does not say anything about whether someone believes in God, only what that person believes is knowable about God.

It can also come in weak ("we don't have the knowledge") and strong ("such knowledge cannot be gained") forms.

I, for example, am an atheist who rejects both weak and strong agnosticism. Someone else might be an atheist who holds to a weak agnostic position or a theist who holds to a strong agnostic decision (with such a person being called a "Fideist," with Martin Gardner the most famous example).

In his first letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul warned Christians to avoid "oppositions of science falsely so called: which some professing have erred from the faith" 1 Tim. 6:20-21. The greek word translated science here is Gnosis, which simply means "knowledge. This is where the term Gnostics came from. These professors of "so called science" believed they had a special knowledge of religious matters and they tried to mix Christian religion with ancient pagan religions and also Greek philosophies...which ended up being a totally non-christian belief system.

actually, agnosticism and atheism are the two very complicated words to stipulate. i fall unwell of people quibbling approximately it--i've got been accused of no longer being a "acceptable" atheist through fact i'm open to the opportunity of a few form of God, and that i've got additionally been accused of no longer being a "acceptable" agnostic through fact i'm particularly particular that particular holy books are not authentic. That being suggested, i'm extra of an agnostic than an atheist. the rationalization is that atheists have a habit of saying issues are shown that are actually not. there is not any information that there is not any God. If the creation tale in Genesis isn't taken actually, there is no longer even any information that the Bible isn't authentic. there is not any information that there is no longer a planet of a hundred-foot crimson spiders someplace in the universe. some issues look particularly no longer likely, and actually do no longer look probable sufficient to base your worldview off of. yet as a student of the scientific approach, it truly irritates me whilst human beings claiming to champion the scientific approach declare that issues are "shown" whilst they don't seem to be. it form of feels particularly hypocritical, very comparable to Christians who insist on the actuality of Christs' teachings and then do no longer persist with them. i think of the rationalization there are not extra agnostics is that we people do only no longer do nicely with uncertainty. we could desire to have confidence that all of us understand each and every thing, or a minimum of a few thing. This frequently prevents us from finding on the rather information in the universe, whether this is information against faith or against dogmatic atheism. this is my 2 cents, besides.

All roads lead to God. There is no other place to go except home to God. The problem with our world, I think, is that we have many roads, but each of us thinks that our own road is the ONLY way. Just because you believe a certain way doesn't mean everyone else is wrong. Yours may be a right way, but so might mine, and theirs, and everyone's. If we believe in an all forgiving and merciful God, we can't think that most of the world's population, which He created, is going to hell simply by accident of birth. That seems unforgiving and unmerciful to me.

Just my opinion.

All beliefs do not lead to "God". Your question is clearly based on a false premise. Rethink. Try again.
