You have two choices.
Keep this guy as a wonderful friend that you have so much in common with, or say good-bye. That's it. You can't change him, and if you really liked him for himself, you wouldn't want him too.

I am much less paranoid now that you have buttoned up your overcoat and are not loaded for bear, so to speak. I don't suppose I should be answering this question because obviously I can't be the total paranoid of whom you speak since I WILL talk to a 4" fwuffy wuffy ickle bickle bear. And by-dee-bye, said ickle bickle bear is the only answerer/asker around here that I know of with Nazi paranoia ideations. Something to ponder when you can't sleep at night. you have a lot of common with him because he IS gay. I had a gay friend, It was great, we'd go to the mall check out guys together, He was one of my best friends, unfortunatly he moved away.
Trust me chickie, you will never ever turn a gay man straight no matter HOW hard you try. you'll just have to deal with it.

wow, i'm so sorry. i know you must be upset, but the fact is you cannot change him. he likes men, he will never like you sexually but he may as a friend. stay friends if that's where you're at. i kno it's hard, but many fish in the sea, that's a true thing. :)

be friends with him, don't denie him friendship. it sucks that you found someone you like and he turns out gay, but that is part of life. maybe he will turn out to be a great friend.
