I was with this guy I am dating the other night and we were having sex and in the middle he says that he would like me to be his wife. I said what do you mean. He said that it was just something we should think about in the future. We've talked about this before and he thought I was rushing the relationship. Not that I was trying to get married and have kids but calling him my boyfriend. To him, this was too soon about a month ago. Now, he is saying that he wants to marry me. This is the second time he has said something like this. Both times we were messing around. Is he being serious or just not thinking with his head?

You both should have this discussion whlle not "otherwise engaged". Putting all the cards on the table and being honest with each other.

Well, I think you are right to suspect maybe what he is saying in the heat of passion may be more spontaneously spoken than if he had a sit-down serious conversation with you when you were not in the middle of .... the act. You really will need to ask him this. I think you can pretty much ask him the way you asked here. Seems odd that he only says it when you are intimate and not at other times. You should ask him about this. Perhaps he feels you are rushing the relationship and now he is making these comments to try to please you and keep you even though it is not really his immediate intention to marry you.... Good luck.

He's not hinking with his head... well not the one that counts right now. Guys are known for saying things they doen't really mean in the midst of 'physical relationship'. He could just be saying it to get you hyped up, or in a better mood because an excited wiggly woman atop a man - well you can get the picture.
Wait a while, then ask him about it. If not, just wait it out, don't mention it, wait 'till he pops the question, and if he doesn't in like ... 90 days then be head strong.
I say 90 days because that's how long my sister waited or said she would, he made it to 87 days :)
Good luck.

Its possible, but during sex its pritty hard to think about anything else. Its possible he was thinking "if we get married i can shag like this till the cows come home". The chemicals involved in sex when it happens tends to mess with things.

Get a clearer reading on it before whooping out grandmas wedding ring.

Why don't you just ask HIM, rather than asking a bunch of people who know nothing about him, you, or your relationship?

Communication is key.

You should ask him about it sometime when you aren't messing around or having sex.
