If you are thinking about committing suicide, that is considered an emergency and you can go to the ER. Just tell them what's going on and they will admit you and have you talk to a psychologist that's on call. Depending on what they think, you might spend some time in the hospital to get stabilized before they send you home. It already sounds like it's serious enough for you to get hospitalized, but since I don't know you, I can't really tell. Either way, seek help immediately.

Your Doctor should have already talk to you about hospitalizing you. If not, you should be able to hospitalize your self. But do you really want that? Mental hospital are not the beat place in the world for any one. Can you not get the meds. without going in the hospital? If you afraid you will hurt yourself then please call someone or go to the emergency room. I know there is help some where out there, keep trying and good luck

It depends on how old you are whether you can admit yourself, or if a parent needs to. You should contact a mental health professional immediately. I suggest you go to an emergency room today. Tell them you are suicidal, and they will not discharge you. A social worker at the hospital will work on getting you a room in a hospital that can help you. (In the meantime, you will stay in the regular hospital). Be honest and tell them you need and want this kind of help. Bless you for seeing this problem in yourself and reaching out for help. I wish you the best.

It depends on the laws where you live. However, in my experience - it matters most if you want the help. I have seen people released from the hospital shortly after a suicide attempt because they lied to the psychologist about their motivations and symptoms. If you ask for help, you will more likely get it.

I once called like 800.stopcut or something like that per request after the movie Secret Cutting. It was the NY Police Dept and they found out my information, called my town's police (I live in IL) and sent the cops to my house. They took me to the hospital and wouldn't release me until my mom showed up 7 hours later.
Maybe that's all it will take for you to get the help you need.

You should be able to get referred to help via any law enforcement agency. Most will give you a ride if you need it.

Hang in there, lots of people have gone through similar situations and have recovered fully to experience much joy and laughter that awaits around the next bend.

You need to tell your doctor about your suicidal thought and he can put you in a hospital. You can call your local mobile crisis unit to see other ways to get the help you need

First, i would recommend starting with getting yourself to a large library with plenty of open space. you would be surprised at the amount of books that can be completely uplifting if you just spend one hour in there. Guaranteed fix., if this doesn't help, try contacting a therapist, last resort to a hospital.

talk it over with your doctor

you should seek hospital inpatient help if you are not able to trust yourself at home (and it sounds like you are getting that way)

however, your suicidal ideation is not a guaranteed entry into hospital - I have seen many patients with chronic suicidal ideation who seem to get worse if they are in hospital (this may or may not be relevant to you)

you should be assessed by a doctor who can help make the determination of whether or not you should be in hospital
