France is not necessarily smarter. France has a peculiar problem and that is a declining birth rate, which means that unchecked immigration could result in an imbalance of foreign nationals vs French citizens, and which could conceivably result in the eventual destruction of France.

Israel has the same problem.

Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Theodore Roosevelt 1907

It is irrelevant to me what France does.....my views on France are not exactly what you would call politcally correct. Neverthe less, this is what WE should be doing.

i could agree that we are a affected person u . s .. With a central authority who relatively likes to seem after human beings no longer born right here somewhat than those born and bred. i think interior right here few years (or months) the real natives of england will lose their tempers with those immigrants that leech all our money, centers and jobs. I relatively have seen some information comments approximately some immigrants leaving our seashores as a results of credit crunch. that could desire to launch some dole money for the Woolworths redundancies!

Not smarter but you have to consider that no one wants to live and work in France so there really isn't a problem. They said 25,000 immigrants in France in the states we have 25,000 try to get in a day. Like I said not smarter just no one likes France.

No, they aren't smarter than we are, they just don't feel they have to bend over backwards for other nationalities to prove that they aren't racist.

They believe in maintaining their national values and identity, while apparantly Washington D.C. believes we should just give away our heritage.

They have a much smaller problem, they can afford to simply tackle it head on.
