i have been lifting 25 lb dumbells for about a month almost now and im gonna move on to the new adjustable 25 lb-50 lb dumbbells. if i continue the work and eat right protein rich meals, should i get bigger muscles by then? im kind of skinny armed. I see the little lumps, but 25 pounds only tones, not grow size

to actually get big you have to do sets, maybe 4 sets of 10. And the weight should be heavy enough that you can barely finish each set or maybe even need help in doing so. By the end of July is a lot of time to get bigger but you won't be confused for a body builder in that kind of time frame.

the diet determines the size of the muscles not the load used to stimulate them. I can't see how you could be following a properly designed strength training routine with only dumbbells.
