You might get something from it. Why would you let other people's belief influence you? Read it, be objective and find out for yourself. It is only that you can make a ture claim about the book. What could be true to you may not be true to others but it does not means it is not right.

Holy crap that stuff is such a load of hogwash. Please do not buy it. First of all, it's a rip-off of "The Power of Positive Thinking". It's a self-help book that does nothing but offer vague advice on how "the laws of attraction" and "thinking positively" can alter the outcome of your life. Sure, having a good attitude definitely impacts your life, but they claim that doing so will affect things outside of your sphere of influence. As in, if you think about winning the lottery you are more likely to win the lottery. If you want a BMW all you have to do is will it to happen and it will be yours. It's really as silly as all that.
My favorite bit of criticism: "[The author] took the well-worn ideas of some self-help gurus, customized them for the profoundly lazy, [and] gave them a veneer of mysticism."
Please read the other criticisms of the book at the page below before you give them any of your money.

I can't say if it's true or not, and nor can those who participated in The Secret. It's like the Da Vinci Code, really. You believe it or you don't, or you just accept that someone had yet another idea about life, the universe and everything.

There are no "spiritual" secrets.
Anyone that says they know more about god than you do is lying.
