or is it the survivors that lament your passing because they weren't done with you yet?

funerals are for the living

I've lost loved ones recently

one was a "believer" who in anguish at the failure of his Jesus god to make things better ended it all, also in spite against his parents at leading down such a road of manipulation and control, some good times but mostly pain and longtime depression after godly figure raped his sister. After a recent confession, it was too much for him. I really miss that guy but I think he had the right to choose what was best for him. Ironically he used the same weapon his father did for that crime to remove his awareness from existence

ha. either you've stopped god's plans which proves he's not omniscient

or his plan was for you to kill yourself which is a sin and you'll go to hell which means his plan was for you to go to hell in which case he's mean.

interesting.

i'm no expert, but i strongly believe that you can stop God's plan by committing suicide. it most definitely wasn't God's plan for anyone to commit suicide, if so...God wouldn't have created people in the first place. im not in any way trying to speak for Him, but i believe we are all here to fulfill a purpose, what other intention would there be for us to exist if not to complete a mission?.......

I have had 2 people in my family kill themselves ! And I truly believe that they would not have suceeded in that unless it was gods plan also ! Maybe people kill themselves so that god can test other people . You know like there reaction to the entire situation and what not . But utimatley it is all up to god!

I think god would find a way around you killing yourself if something really had to get done... but people around you will be effected.
if you were meant to have kids- they won't exist
if you were meant to marry- that person won't have the one they were meant to have
if your family needed you (specifically for something, not just in general)-you won't be there

god gives us free will and responcibility. sometimes its responcibility to others

I bet God is really sitting around saying "DAMNIT! That boy was going to be President and he offed himself. Damn, now what am I going to do?"

Well, that's silly. Obviously then if you kill yourself, it's because God planned it. Which only goes to show that God is a jerk.

maybe god plans on you killing yourself?
It all depends on how omnipotent and omniprescent you believe that god is. lotsa' people die every day for all different reasons. Many by choice, many by accident, disease, etc.

You were put here for a purpose. When you interrupt that purpose you are only delaying the inevitable.
