One may not believe evolution theory just because but if he says it is "illogical" then one has to stay on the logical path and NOT believe in Adam and Eve. (not the most "logical" explanation about anything)

this is to the man who according to you was created by a god in a world where there are logical rules...we know that cows dont fly so if your god want us to believe in flying cows then he will have to change that particular logical rule on us and allow cows we see to fly

Because it is the nature of faith, belief despite the facts and evidences. And it is the nature of traditional religion, believe, nay, have faith in what your sacred scripture say.

Because they don't understand the theory of evolution, or the fact that the theory of evolution isn't contrary to Adam and Eve or God or even Religion at all.

They're just undereducated and unwilling to look into the matter to get a better understanding.

Have you seen any of the anti-evolution videos? They display a comical lack of knowledge about the idea, but demand that science be applied to proving religion.

Hilarious and pointless, the debate will continue.

Adam and Eve = a story based on oral tradition (remarkably like OTHER creation stories in history)

Evolution = a theory based on bones and other things we've found in the earth paiting a detailed time line

but the most important distinction is that one is based on FAITH and the other on FACTS (that you can see and touch and categorize).

Yeah, but they're idiots. When they use words like "illogical/nonsensical," they don't even understand what they mean. They live in a la-la-land in which the Adam and Eve story actually IS true and acceptable and reasonable, and evolution is scientists trying to covert people to Satanism. What's the point in arguing? You can't convince them of anything by legitimate methods; they only respond to statements that resonate with their programming.

You can't even explain to them - and we know this because we've tried - the difference between science and religion, why creationism is not an "alternative" to evolution any more than Wright's Coefficient of Relationship is an alternative to the Lord's Prayer. They simply refuse to get it. And yet they constantly try to boost religion on the ground that it's supported by science - while blasting science on the ground that it requires faith!

First off the belife in God is thus: There is a God in the universe who created everything and everyone. This God in creating his creation has the power to change it. its as simple as that. I do belive there is a God who created adam and eve and everyone and everything. There hased to be i mean explain how the world came about in science... you'd say"BIG BANG" well the fact is that there was so small chance Humans came about by "accedent" that there has'd to be some devine being. i see no logic in your question.

Well for one who does not believe in God because He is illogical must stay on the logical path and deny the Big Bang, the the first steps needed for life to appear. Since that step from non-life to life is rather absurb and not likely. And the fact that most scientists agree that there had to be a beginning.

Or wait does that not apply to you?

Because the fossil record supports creationism!

Compare :

A . Evolution predicts a fossil record that will contain

1. Simple life forms gradually appearing with similar predecessors
2. Simple life forms gradually changing over time into more complex forms.
3. Countless transitional links between kinds of creatures.
4. Beginnings of and partially completed features such as new limbs, bones and organs.

B. Creationism predicts a fossil record that will contain

1. Complex life forms suddenly appearing with no evolutionary predecessors.
2. Complex life forms multiplying 'after their kinds' but with limited variety within those kinds.
3. No transitional links between kinds of creatures.
4. No partial features such as new limbs, bones and organs. All parts are complete and fully functional.

AFTER YEARS OF STUDY AND RESEARCH, WHAT DOES THE FOSSIL RECORD SHOW?

1. Complex life forms suddenly appearing with no evolutionary predecessors.
2. Complex life forms multiplying 'after their kinds' but with limited variety within those kinds.
3. No transitional links between kinds of creatures
4. No partial features such as new limbs, bones and organs. All parts are complete and fully functional.

Scientifically, which hypothesis made predictions that have been fulfilled by the fossil record?

Yeah, that never really jived with me. Our gradual evolution evidenced by mountains of fossil records and genetic research doesn't make sense, but a mystical mega being scooped up a handful of dirt and basically said "hey, wake up" and PRESTO, humanity is born! Apparently THAT makes MUCH more sense.

Hmmmmm.......

SCIENCE.... Calls.. EVOLUTION.... "A THEORY!"

Are YOU... TELLING US.. THAT SCIENCE IS WRONG?

Yet GOD.... is Calling YOU.... TO REPENT!

GOD.... Is Calling EVERYONE.... To Repent!

(Acts 17:30-31) Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

(Acts 17:31) because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead.

BUT.... MOST... of Mankind..... IS REFUSING.. HIS CALL!

Thanks, RR

Amen to Wayne. A glorious and all-knowing God created everything. Who are we, the created, to say what he did or did not have a hand in creating?
