not even close to the same effect. the response by the endocrine system to 5 minutes of exercise is not even close to what is seen when exercise is continuous.
it sounds like you really aren't trying to exercise but to do as little work as possible.

Its uncomplicated: consume much less, burn extra. no count number what absolutely everyone says, it has extra to do with how lots you put in your physique that something. you may desire to artwork your butt off on the gymnasium for 3 hours an afternoon until you drop, although that's what you do the different 21 hours which will make you fat or no longer. a school professor (the two Harvard or Cornell) at the instant did a discover ways to disprove all the crap approximately "consume this, no longer that" and to tutor that it purely comes right down to energy. He ate in uncomplicated terms twinkies. One each and every time he have been given hungry. And he lost a gaggle of weight. He supplemented it with supplements and protein beverages. in the top, he replaced into thinner, his electrolytes have been extra in stability and his ldl cholesterol had improves. Take supplements so which you will no longer become ill jointly as limiting your energy. all that maximum meals plan pills do is boost your resting heart cost so which you will metabolize meals swifter and help burn it off. it is risky to combine with a too lots workout. that's better to consume little or no meals. do no longer waste energy on issues you do no longer prefer. purely consume the organic, total, wholesome areas of the meals and for the era of something away (bread, fries, extra ingredient products, etc).

depends on your body type, usually, you have to exercise until your body cannot take it any more. then you can sweat, your heart speeds up and you start to burn fat.
this is a habit, but i usually walk around the living room until i have to go do something or my legs start to hurt or start to get numb. I've developed some muscles and lost weight. but it was like, two weeks.....
so i think it should be a big long workout. and remember, you should work out three times a week, thirty minutes each time.

It is a very good idea because it keeps you from being bored. However, you need to work out for 20 minutes consistently before you even start burning fat. Also, after excersising, lets say an hour, your body continues to burn calories at a 10-20% increase for up to 6 hours!! which is also achieved when excersising throughout the day. I recommend excersising at one specific point for a long workout.

Absolutely...NOT! Aerobic exercise needs a minimum of 20 - 30 minutes before any significant gains are made in weight reduction, endurance or conditioning. On the anaerobic side, doing one bench press and then walking away, doing another two hours later, etc. won't accomplish anything.
Sorry to say, but the old adage, "no pain, no gain" holds true in physical conditioning - you have to invest the time in order to reap real rewards.
Best to you.

No. Exercise is to get your blood pumping, heart racing, and make you sweat and work your body. If you take long periodical breaks, your body will not be able to do this. I suggest doing it the old fashioned way. But, you could do the five minute work outs, but maybe instead of making them five minutes, make it more like 10-20.

Any exercise is better then none at all. Doing 5 mins here and there won't give you the cardiovascular benefit that a 30-45 min jog or bike ride would. But it is certainly OK. :)

it depends on what you are trying to accomplish... like building muscle or toning/shaping or losing weight, etc.
little segments of exercise strung closely together would be like repetitions, but scattered across time would likely be worth much less.
for example, when trying to improve cardio-vascular health, you strive to exercise in a continuous way to achieve a certain heart rate and sustain that for a target time.
likewise, if you are trying to improve, say abdominal muscles, stands to reason you would want to do enough reps in one sitting to tax the target muscle group.
just my opinion...

It is best to do at least 15 minutes if you want a cardiac work out. It will take at least that long to increase you pulse rate. If you are referring to stretching then yes that is fine.
