I give the whole "rapture" business a very low order of probability. It has always seemed to me a comforting "escape hatch" for those poor paranoids who've convinced themselves that the world will end soon in a very horrible way.

Wow, that's so nice that people are taking care of he stray pets and watering the ferns.
You know if the majority of the population just vanished, leaving us earth lovers here. It just be justice served.
