like the guy who committed the massacre at VA Tech.
I think on ABC News they said that he had no expression on his face when he did what he did.
Theres many other murders who are like this but I am just using this one example. They also said that he had no mental illness.

Ok this is how it sometimes works. Some people lack a certain chemical produced in the brain that causes fear or certain reactions like that. A lot of the biggest crimminals that continue to repeat their crimes isn't neccesairly due to them not having a conscious, it may be because a conscious is devirted from the same chemical that fear exerts. In other words a person without fear really can't critically think about many situations one being commiting crimes, murders, torturing others...etc Notice when you hurts someone you get some sort of adrenaline that causes you to want to stop hurting or the same adrenaline that you get when you know when something bad is going to happen to you? Well they don't have that feeling because they are missing that chemical in their brains. I hope you understand what i wrote.

Everyone has a concience but some people dont have a truthful one. They do what they want and dont feel bad afterwards

According to the psychiatry manual (DSM-IV) some people are psychopaths (estimated 1% of population)
They have no conscience.
Some just go around hurting those they no (emotionally, physically or financially without breaking the law. Others break the law like the Virgirginia Tech guy. Sociopaths are often made because of bad childhoods. Psychopaths can be born that way.

If he didn't have a conscience he probably wouldn't have killed himself. Everyone has a conscience but their morals are what they deem right or wrong.
You don't have to have an education or be religious in order to empathize, in my opinion he lacked sympathy. Sympathy for the students who were effected, their families, and the nation as a whole.
People were very rude and mean to him and instead of being hurt he became angry. Also, there is no test for mental instability, if there was we would give it everyone and there would be no crazies left on the streets :) Nice thought though.

I haven't heard any claims that he didn't have mental illness. Additionally, one could argue that by default he must have been mentally ill, for anyone who went on a murderous rampage would certainly have mental issues.
Mental illness is not an excuse for what he did. Millions of mentally ill people do not kill. That lunkhead was full of hate and jealousy. He was a loser who couldn't stand that other people were successful.
Just my opnion.... for whatever its worth.

They did not say he was not mentally ill. They said the opposite. He was mentally unstable and cared only about himself. Prisons are full of people like this. Most people do have a conscious.

You can't just kill people, write sickening stories,when you kill show no emotion, stalk girls and not be a little insane. He did actually went to a mental hospital but the school couldn't tell his parents because of some law etc. He was ill and needed treatment. He was a adult and there are laws that make people respect you make your own decisions. He was insane.

People who can commit these crimes; having no conscious; no remorse; no guilt, etc. are called "antisocial." The antisocial personality is a hopeless mental disorder--meaning that these people will most likely never change--never be able to fit into society.

Some people are just plain cruel. They just enjoy making people suffer.
But I also doubt that this guy doesn't feel a little bit of guilt for what he did. He probaby doesn't have any sympathy, but I bet deep down he HAS to feel guilty. If he doesn't, then that just shows what a monster he is.

They lied. He definitely had a mental illness. He was court ordered to seek mental help prior to the shooting. The problem is...if someone is mentally ill, you can't trust them to GET mental help because a court order doesn't mean anything to someone who isn't thinking with a normal mind.
