There's this one guy who I've known for awhile now. He stares at me alot and smiles at me a lot too. We even have a staring game thing. He even called me his gf once, but I joked around with it instead of taking it seriously. I might be open to the fact he likes me, but there is a year age difference which makes things complicating and he doesn't act the same way with me around his friends compared to when it's just both of us. I'm not sure on what to do. Do you think the gf comment was insinuating something?

Okay most guys will usually respond differently around there freinds... I think its genetic... don't be offended that he treats you differently... Make sure to let him how you feel about the way he acts... If you take the comment serious you should let him know you feel the same... And just to let you know when a person jokes around about anything 80% of the time there is meaning behind it... that means there is an 80% chance that he likes you...

He likes you, he just isn't mature enough to show you. He's searching for a way to express himself to you but he's coming up with nothing. I say wait for him to grow up a little bit. This may mean that he'll move on to something or someone else but your heart is at stake here. It's hurtful to really like someone who isn't treating you the same as you treat them. If he really likes you he won't change when he's around his friends no matter how embarrassed he feels, what his friends think, or the age difference. So maybe, kind of like I said before, he isn't mature enough to REALLY like you in the right way. Give him time. I hope this helps.

Look if he acts differently around his friends than he does around you he's probably a faker. He likes you. But something isn't right with this situation. Just do what is right and talk to your friends about it they might help. God bless

He likes you!!! My boyfriend did the same thing to me, I had a huge crush on him. I found out later that he liked me too. Eventually, he asked me out. We're still strong today. Just wait till he makes a move, or if you can't wait, ask him out or have him open up. In the meabtime, keep flirtin'!!!

its quite possible. When i like a female i tend to do the mating dance. It involves me doing the "rock out with my cock out" (sorry, only joke i could think of).
I would say "oh love has no bounds honey, snatch him" but i wont because im not gay and its likely that there are law against him going near ya in that fassion.
Sounds like he is keen, you may need to get educated about the laws involving this thing in your area but *shrugs*

I think he really likes you! It doesn't matter if it's a one year difference, if he really likes you and you really like him...it wouldn't matter. I have a friend who has a over 5 year difference and they just love each other, he's waiting for her too. I think you should talk to him, ask him. If you don't you'll surely regret it.

i year age difference is nothing, a good friend of mine is dating someone 10 years older than her. and if hes calling u his gf then he probably likes u! guys have big heads and huge egos, they tend to try to act cool and unemotional in front of their friends. i would just ignore that, as long as he doesnt insult you in front of them...why dont you just ask him?!?!
