Global Warming is a natural phenomenom that we have absolutely NO CONTROL over. This is another way for the ultra rich to push their agendas down the American peoples throat.
You got actor Al Gore selling this BS carbon credit scam along with his science fiction movie he is pushing on America to make HIS company more successful. Not because he really cares about saving the world from big, bad America, but so his bank account will grow.
If you believe anything he says about 'global warming' you are a ignorant putz. And I would like to sell you some junk under the guise that you need it or you could die. And it's way over-priced, I want you to see the value in it.
Now, if I could just get the gov't to fly me around for free and tell everyone Al Gore is full of shite. He's still pissed he lost, so he hates America now. Just like all the other liberal sell-outs. Thier motto: Blame America First!"
So to answer your question, there is nothing we can do about human influenced global warming. It just doesn't exist. Don't believe the hype. That's all it is, another way for the rest of the world to take abit more American $$$. More money in their pockets means more bashing of America, by all the countries with their hands out.

Global Warming is a farce. Not to say it completely doesnt exist but when 97% of it is naturally made and only 3% is manmade then it is time to backup and regroup on the hyteria surrounding Global Warming. The sun has been hotter than usual recently which has contributed to small amounts of Global Warming but the rmajority of it is created on planet Earth through natural occurences rather than the only 3% by humans.

Anyone who has looked at the data and run the models can tell you that the warming is real. There is no question about that.
Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do to stop it now. It's too late. Even if we cut our emissions back to 1990 levels the planet would still end up warming.
But we won't do that. This country, let alone the rest of the world, is unwilling to make that kind of a sacrifice.
So we will continue on, as we always do. The climate will continue to change. Water levels will continue to rise. You can be certain a price will be paid, if not by us then by our children.
Will it end the world? Of course not. But it will change it, and in some areas quite drastically.
It is unlikely we will be able to stop the climate change (unless we stop burning all the sequestered carbon from oil and coal), but we should at least prepare for it.

I'm unconvinced. I can just as easily find an accredited scientist who will don't believe global warming and back it up with scientific facts (http://www.realclimate.org/index.php?p=142 and http://www.junkscience.com/ )
These are the exact same people who were so sure that we were headed for global catostrophe with a "global cooling" because there was a cooling trend in the 40's up through the 70's. The weather and average temperature have changed as they have in the past and will keep doing. Right now it happens to be increasing. It's just part of nature. I think global warming is a horrible thing, and its happening because of us. So many people don't know or care about global warming. To help we can get hybrid cars, plant more plants, and recycle. My school did a project on global warming last year and everyone had to do something to help the earth.

Kiss the warm weather goodbye, you will never see it as warm as it has been in the last couple of decades again in your lifetime. A new little Ice-Age is already underway. The hope is that it does not result in a major glacial advance. The sun is soley responsible for our climate, and it is in the beggining stages of taking a breather.

Global warming is a horrible catastorpy (pardon the spelling) and should be dealt with immediatly. if people don't start trying to raise global warming awarness, it's going tobe to late. i suggest you convince everyone you know to research about it on the internet and try to find a way to reduce it, even by a little. if everyo ne did that, global warming might accutaly decrease!!

I think Global Warming is true and there are many thing to do about it. For instance, we can all try to reduce our CO2 emissions by changing our lightbulbs to CFL(compact flourescent lightbulbs) and use a more gas efficient car, and recycling to reduce our waste. I'm glad you want to to know more about this. I advise you to visit www.climatecrisis.com or www.environmentaldefense.org and other websites like that are dedicated to giving people the knowlege and tips to fight global warming.

i know it is real.i think that it is extremely bad for humanity and ALL life on earth in general.I also think it is going to be devastating in a couple of years when it takes a new, harmful, and destructive role.We should take this topic very seriously, because this is the most talked about and most known to anyone and almost everyone on the planet. Why, probably because it will effect everyone. We should act helping and willing towards this .We should spread the know tell friends, teachers, co -workers that this is going to effect us all in the near future and even now, tell them or give them some advice such as planting a tree, or switch to CFL's, and save energy.

The ozone layer replenishes itself. We are at a point where we did a lot of damage to it but it will rebound on its own.
What should we do about it? Become more understand of our environment. I mean, if you knew the ozone layer can repair itself then you wouldn't panic right?
The more serious problem is to stop pollution/destruction of our rivers, oceans and natural forests.
