I've read the other similar questions posted on this subject and also done some additional research, with so many different answers its starting to bother me. Yes, I have done the low-carb thing before and lost 13 pounds but gained it back. Now this time i've lost 5 in about a week. I am eating lots of fruit, vegetables, and cheese. Also, I eat pork, eggs, chicken hamburger meat, etc. and I feel fine. Please give me your opinion on low-carb diets and how I can improve or if I am doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

yes they are safe but "low" is a rather subjective term as what is low for one person might be high for another. the carbohydrate intake should really be based on the level of daily physical activity that a person has and there current level of body fat.

when it comes to weight management you also need to exercise. only a small percentage of the population can control the bodyweight with out exercise.
