If you mean He answers every prayer with either yes or no or maybe, then there is some merit to it; however, the deliberately wicked and rebellious are SUMMARILY IGNORED. The first prayer God is willing to entertain from them is usually, "Please forgive me."

Yes, God does answer every prayer. He answers them in His own time not ours. So sometimes we will see results right away, other times it may take days, weeks, years. We need to be patient and keep praying, reading His Word and often the answers will come to us that way.
God also answers all prayers for what He sees our best interest not necessarily ours. For example, if I ask God for a lot of money and never get it, doesn't mean He didn't hear my prayer. Maybe I need to examine how I manage the money I have. God will answer prayers according to what is best for us.

God (whom I believe to be Jesus) does answer to every prayer. The answer may not always be the one that you want though, and he may grant some of the please that all of us make as long as it doesn't contradict with his master plan. He also won't fulfill what we ask if it's better for us in the long run.

Also if anyone wants to prove that I'm wrong I bet that I can either find facts that prove I'm right and/or prove you wrong.

I beileve that when we pray our prayers are heard, however when they are answered it may not be in the timely fashion that we hope for or even in the manner we wished for... Creator works in mysterious ways.

I remember a Garth Brooks song I think it was called "Unanswered Prayers" Sometimes the greatest gift our Creator bestows upon us is to not answer the prayer in the fashion that we had hoped for.

No. Never. When I was a kid, I prayed ALL the time -- mostly for my parents to get a clue and start taking better care of their family.

Not once did I have the vaguest sensation that any prayer I ever said was answered even to the tiniest degree, like getting my dad to work a full week or getting them to buy more groceries than beer and cigarettes.

i dont think he does. im not sure if he ever has. his way of answering will always be different from humans. we see things as black and white, good and bad. people might think gods rules are plain and understood, but they arent. if our questions are all complicated, they cant be answred by a yes or no. thats my stand point on that

Yes, but the answer may not always be what we want.

to a request He answers "yes" or "no", in whatever timing, in whatever form. if you ask something like "what are your plans for me, Lord?" then obviously it'll be a more complex answer. maybe isn't one of God's answers, Him being omniscient and all....

About as meaningless as a horoscope saying "you will find challenges today".
