Plastic? Most likely not a problem. Wooden? No one can answer that, it depends on how well she chewed it. She will not be able to digest the wood, so IT WILL make the full "voyage". She may not have an issue, since the intestinal lining is coated and the wood will probably just scrape it, but there is always the chance that the splinters will puncture the lining. Keep a good eye on her, look for a loss of appetite or energy or blood in her stool. Also keep an eye out for her 'poopsicle' before you breathe easy. Be ready to rush to the vet until she's made at least four uneventful poops. Best of luck.

A dogs belly acids are very robust. It'll digest the little pieces of wood pulp and eventually poop it out. The minute quantity of stick eaten is an effective factor at this point. In the future, do not go away trash lying round that a canine will get into if he is feeling hungry. In case your dog received it out of the trash then i might endorse preserving used food items in a closed container or continually empty your trash can.

It should pass fine, I have a dog who's eaten worse than that. Keep a close eye on her, make sure her appetite and water intake remain the same. If they diminish at all, she begins acting lathargic, or vomiting, go to the vet immediately. Best of luck!

depending on size of wood. If small it should pass threw. A larger piece may cause problems. if it makes you nervous call your vet. It doesn't cost to ask questions. If not just watch for blood in stools(internal tear) or no poop (obstruction). Just remember dogs chew sticks all the time.

Just watch your dog closely. She will let you know if she is in pain. The only problem with popcicle sticks is that they are jagged and could get caught or tear her esophagus. Just keep an eye on her.

It really depends on how much of it your she ate! I would keep a close eye on her bowel movements and eating habits, and if you notice she is not eating, seeming lethargic or weak, or if she's having bloody stools or no stools, call your Veterinarian immediately!
Wishing you both luck!

Probably, just make sure you check her poop the next few times she goes to make sure there is no blood and to see if the stick will come out.
