I HAD BEEN SENT 4 BAD CHECKS FROM SOMEONE AND I THOUGHT THAT THE CHECK WAS GOOD WELL I CASHED IT AND NOW I HAVE TO GO TO COURT.I AM FACING 30 DAYS IN JAIL.DO U THINK THAT I WILL GO TO JAIL FOR SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT DO?

i have a public defender. but the judge is only looking at the checks that i wrote and not the bad checks that were sent to me.i could go to jail for 30 days but i hope not.what do u think?do u think that i will go to jail.

First of all,how did you get these bad checks,if you happen to be the victim of these job scam,then,you need to gather some proof,coz,by cashing the check ,you become a part/accessory to the fraud,you need a lawyer,Good luck.

Well of course not. Just explain to the judge what occurred. It might if you hired yourself an attorney as well. Good luck to you.
