Well in 10 min. I already run a mile so should it be just 10 minutes?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Running I think is probably one of the best things to do to lose weight. I know quite a few people who've lost considerable weight running. I think 15 minutes is fine and you might want to do it every day or something. They recommend 30 minutes 3 days a week, but I think if you're running for a shorter amount of time but for more days it should balance out. Plus, it's only a recommendation, meaning it's different for everyone. That combined with healthy eating should work.

It will definitely do more than nothing. Could you make it 20 minutes? which is how much cardio is required? If not, that can be atelast a mile which will do something. Add cruches, push ups and other exercises with that and do it like 3-4 times a week! you should see some results, as long as you eat fine!
