ok, im trying to lose some weight im like 15 pounds over what i should be right now ( its sad, i know ) im in 7th grade ok, so yea. I wanna lose some weight and get healthier. The thing is, i exercise everyday by riding my bike to and from school ( about 2 miles ) and ride it after shcool with my friends. i also eat fruits and veggies everyday and drink water and milk. What can i do to lose weight? Why am i not losing any weight. No mean answers plz. I wanna at least lose the pounds by the end of summer/ start of school. So thats about 4 months and i wanna lose 15 pounds. PLZ PLZ help. I wanna get healthy

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

I completely agree with that being embarrassing, I am12 and actually UNDERWEIGHT for my height which is 5'4, so obviously it does not matter what the scale says just how you think you look. You could be like 30 pounds overweight, and that be just because you have alot of muscle or something. Like anorexic people pay attention only to the scale and not the way they look, cause that's scary. I hope this has helped you and good luck, it sounds like you have good habits, so just keep it up!

hi! im also trying to lose some pounds and just eat healthier. what works for me is cutting out foods that have white flour and sugar in them. instead of foods with a lot of preservatives, try things with 'natural' sugar to help your sweet tooth....a lot of fruit. And about the white flour, limit the bread/ carb foods. If your going to have carbs, have it with protein so you feel full after eating it instead of just becoming hungry in an hour. try peanut butter and crackers, hummus...etc. also, i read that you drink milk, make sure its not whole milk because that is very high in fat. finally my last tip is no eating after 7 pm. if you go to bed full your guaranteed to gain weight! good luck :)

you're not too much overweight. I'm 13 in seventh grade i'm 5" 4' i weigh 133 so your fine!! Besides, you do enough excercise!! By the way thnx 4 ansering my question.. it really wasn't about a friend it was about me.

turn dinner into a healthy lunch the next day by wrapping your lean leftovers in a whole wheat wrap add a little dijon mustard or curry powder for added flavor
