My grandma gives her dachshund benedryl whenever she is icthy because she is allergic to fleas. She gives her children's benedryl but only a small amount like a teaspoon. I think it would be okay to give it to your dog but make sure it's the children's kind.

It will probably be ok but I would give him or her less than a pill. I always give my dog a benedryl if she has an alergic reation to something (bee stings) and it works great. Say hi to your doggie(s) for me!

Yes, it is fine to give to your dog. It's probably easiest to use the liquid. Just read the label and give the amount according to the dog's weight.

yes its very safe, my dog has bad allergies and thats what the vet gave us was generic benadryl from wal mart.

Absolutely NO NO NO....Thats why vets have their own medicine. Get some thru the Vet.
