I too gripe about the price of gasoline here (in San Diego, we are often in the top 3 most expensive averages, nationwide, if not the highest - average $3.42/gal and rising here now). But still I remind myself that when I was in Germany with the US Army between 1986 and 1992, I often saw fuel prices which were the equivalent of $8/gallon!

I'm in the UK and a gallon of gas (diesel) is almost £1, almost $2. What is it there now?

No because money is all his. He owns everything in the world. And anyways gas is nothing to him. He can do anything including travel anywhere when he wants to. Read the bible.

I don't know about god....but I'm sure if it keeps going up like it has there will a point where even the oil companies themselves won't be able to buy it.

God cannot do what isn't actually possible to be done, like creating a two-sided triangle, or a married bachelor. just because words can be strung together this way does not make the impossible possible - these things are contradictions, they are truly impossible in reality.

Why would God need gas in the first place? He doesn't need to drive.

In this life we are going through trials and tribulations and God can stop certain things but he allows sinful nature to take its course so that we can grow in grace.

Sure - just as soon as you show why it's OK to ask why God can not make a non-entity. It's a logical absurdity and a play on words, nothing more, nothing less.
