What to do? should i give up or should i wait?

Ok. well my boyfriend of a yr and a half. broke up with me bcuz i lied about somthing. . . i dnt blame him but over the past 5 months ive proved to him that was a one and only thing. well he took me back but 2 weeks later told me he couldnt be with me bcuz he still cant trust me. it seems like one minute we're great the next he pushes me away. it hurts. . and it seems like the more i wait for him the more it hurts me. . . everyone tells me to move on. but i cant. everytime i try he acts like he wants me back.not to mention he's my first love.it was love at first sight for me and he was my first everything.weve bn through more than you can imagen and we were even engaged but yet it seems like we cant work through this.ive told him im sorry and ive told him ive learned and that i love him and it was a mistake.but he jus cant trust me no matter wat i do.i dnt want to give up but it looks like i have to.cuz all it sms like is he hurts me he stood me up this weekend on a date. wut shud i do

I just got thru something very similar. I cheated on my guy, and he broke up with me. Then he got back together with me and broke up with me about 6 times over the course of two weeks. He said he felt he couldn't trust me any more. After months and months, we got back together and I told him I can't have my heart broken again, and you cant take me on a roller-coaster relationship. So we are still together to this day about a year after we started dating again. Try to give him some space. I know it can be hard to stay away from him, but if he truly loves you, then sometime down the road he will forgive u. Also if he gives another chance, you gotta be sure you dont do wat u did again, cuz if he finds out you did it again itll be broken and you'll never be able to repair it.

Stop waiting. He's playing with you. I'm only guessing that you two have been intimate. If that is the case he's only messing around with you in the times when he feels he can get in and get out without becoming connected to you. If not then my suggestion stands. Stop waiting and cut him completely off until you are strong enough to face him. Stop taking his calls, stop answering his emails (don't even read them), and do not think for one minute that he wants you back until he can look you in the face and tell you that he's forgiven you and that he will work on trusting you. After that WATCH HIS ACTIONS! Men do not know it but they have a huge "tell" when they say one thing but think another. If he say's it's over but he calls flattering you (talking sweetly but not fully renewing the relationship), that means he just wants sex. If he say's he wants you back but treats you like you don't really matter that means he doesn't know what he wants and he's playing with you until he figures it out. YOU do not have time for him to figure it out! Your heart is involved here! How much hurt are you going to allow before you temporarily loose your mind? Don't let him play you like that! I understand that the first incident was your fault in the first place because you lied, but you've said you are sorry and I believe you've showed him how much you are sorry. If he can't forgive you totally then cut things off and move on before you really get hurt! I hope this helps.
