Bought me a Shrek 2 video for Christmas. and thats all.
Took me out on Valentines day and asked his 2 teenage sons to come along.
Bought me left over Christmas candy for Valentines day off the clearance rack at a Dollar tree and gave it to me after he dropped it on the floor.
Played on a soft ball team with his ex wife for 3 months. claimed he always played the game, but never told me
Forgot my birthday and then reminded me he bought me a 8 piece Chicago cutlery 3 months earlier.
Do you think this is cheap and crappy or is it just me?

This man is not poor. As a matter of fact he brings home over 150K a year. You would not believe how cheap he really is. There is more to this than just those few things. I just chose a few.

I think that he is both cheap and inconsiderate , i.e that is why obviously his first marriage did not work. There are a couple of things that you can do. One, you can either accept this baboon for who he is and just realise that he isn't really in tune to your needs. Two, you can simply remind him or rather tell him what it is that you want for special occassions and emphasize when you want to spend some time alone with him like on your birthday or Valentine's day or three, you can move on and find someone else. Good Luck cause you're gonna need it.

its nothing to dump da guy over. i think you should just say that you deserve to be treated better... and if he cant afford to... well, then he should get you something nice for the same price instead of crap...as for the dollar tree thing........................ yikers. =P. but yaaaaaaaa... i dont think the exwife thing is anything big. okay, think of it this way:
do you demand too much from him or what?????? i mean:
i want something for valentines day, my birthday, i wanna go out to dinner w/o his kids [[which sounds like an evil witch that wants to ship his kids to switzerland after you guys get married]], i want cutlery, i want nice christmas presents, i want nice EVERYTHING!! that's kinda rude 2.

I think you're just waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too over-tolerant of selfish bastards in ur life. You're supposed to be treated like a queen, and nothing less. Maybe u need some therapy or some better girl-friends in your life.....

Maybe he is broke, did that occur to you? If not, then yes, he is cheap! Maybe you might want to gently bring this up to him and tell him that you want him to make you feel special.

He's either cheap or crappy.... do you still want him in either case? It's ok to have standards you know.
