I am trying to make a birthday card for another dog and wanted to put my dog's paw print on it? Can you paint a dog's paw or what other way can I do it?

Yes, you can paint it with regular watercolor paint, just wash it off right away so the dog doesn't lick it.

I think an easier way to do it though, is to buy an ink pad (like the ones they use for stamps) and have your dog step on that, and than on the card. Again, just make sure you wipe it (or wash it) off afterwards.

you mean the pads underneath the paw? Because if that's what you wanted to paint you probably could. Make sure the paint is non toxic and that your dog doesn't eat it. After you get your dog's print wash it off immediately. Or try ink pads. might be safer.
you can also paint your dogs nails.

I wouldn't use paint, as that could infect the skin. However it probably would be okay to use print ink, that it used for getting someones finger print, just make sure when your aroind to clean the dogs paw.

I wouldn't see any harm in it as long as you give the dog a bath immediately. And make sure there are no open cuts or sores or else it could cause an infection.

absolutely NO NO NO. Just think about people putting on a medical patch. Bad and good stuff goes right thru the skin. And paint is the bad stuff. Dont do it.
