There are many different labels so I need more than one way to get them off. See I try new beers from all over the world every week and keeping all the bottles is not very attractive so I would like to put the labels in a photo album. Help! The more ideas the better! Beer!

Water is usually a starter, but it can ruin the label. Try filling a bottle with very hot water and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. This may make the glue pliable enough to let you peel off the entire label.

If that doesn't work, try putting the whole bottle in hot water. Be very careful while peeling. The water will soften the label.

If it still didn't work, get a single edged razor blade and very slowly and carefully separate the label from the bottle.

I have often had luck with putting very hot water in the bottle for it to dissolve. Also they make a gunk remover for sticky situations such as your lable check out your local Wal-Mart or maybe even an auto parts store since people want to remove bumber stickers.

Soak them with WD-40 and wait a few min. and they will come right off. Or use NAPTHA and again soak the intire lable using a cloth and then peel it off.

I think Goo-Gone would ruin them. I'd go for steaming them over a tea kettle.
