How do you conjugate "acustar" (to scare) in the imperfect for el?

How do I tranlate, "he/it scared them"

to scare = asustar

in the imperfect it would be

he scared them = él los asustaba

Like they already mentioned, it's asustar.

In the imperfect, it would be asusto(with an accent on the o).
If it's he scared them: el(with an accent on the e) los asusto
if it's it scared them: eso/esto los asusto

"acustar" isn't a word
"asustar" means to scare

"He/it scared them" would be "El los asusto"
The imperfect tense it would be "El los asustaba"

If someone were scared it would be refelxive. For instance "They were scared" would be "Se asustaban" (imperfect)

Yo asusto (I scare), tu asustas (you scare), el asusta (he scares), ella asusta (she scares), tu asustas (you scare), ellos asustan( male form for they scare), ellas asustan (female form for they scare), nosotros asustamos (we scare).
