Scores run from 300 to 850. The national average is 675. So anything above 740 is very good.

Most lenders I talk with tell me they can qualify just about anyone with a credit score over 680. But anything over 700 is great very few people get into the 800's.

The highest scores usually range in the area of 720-850. This range is considered to be excellent credit.

lower 800's. There are different scoring models. the FICO score is most important.

The advantage score or FAKO at this time means nothing but people seem to get it through pay sites. Lenders are not using it yet and it can be deceiving and give you a score as much as 50 points higher than you FICO.
