I agree with Spifiman.
If something is being reporting inaccurately you do have a legal right to dispute it.
Never pay any company or website to do what you can do for free. Most of those places are scams and all of the info they charge for can be found for free.

Along with the FCRA, FDCPA, FTC, there are a few very good do it yourself credit repair message boards on the web that do not charge anything to read or use the information posted.

You might click on my profile and do some reading on the links I have listed - to the FCRA, FDCPA and you might do some reading in the last link, which is a totally free do it yourself credit repair message board.

Hello,

I would be willing to help for free. First check out these sites and learn as much as you can.

I do have to say that most of the time I agree with Spifiman.
However I do have to say he is incorrect when saying a credit report can not be cleaned because it can be and legally.

Bks and Repos can even be removed and most of the time a court will help you with that.

Credit specialist for over 20 yrs. I work with credit reports daily. I am not selling anything I am here to help.

Most likely, but they are frauds.

I quote from the 2007 edition of the Consumer Action Handbook "There are credit repair companies that are advertising that they can erase bad credit for a fee. Don't believe them".

Credit can not be cleaned. You can have anything that is untrue removed from your credit but that's it. Nothing will clean credit except time and paying your bills on time every month.
