I'm not talking about avoiding the shot or sucking the testes up into the body, I'm talking about taking a full shot to the nuts that you can ignore and keep going. Does a hard nut shot usually mean unconciousness? In my wife's self defense course they taught them that a guy can be "paralysed" temporarily by grabbing the nuts and squeezing. I'm not sure that they wouldn't get hit anyways doing this? If you train by routinely taking shots there can you get used to the pain and learn to fight through it?

As others have pointed out there's a reason why the pain is there - it's so you protect them. I can't imagine you'd keep them for long if they kept getting hit - i mean really.............

Its partly a high threshold of pain thing. If you train or fight full contact, box, or wrestle over a long period of time-say three to four years your attitude towards pain is less and you tend to shrug it off more easily than a person who is a beginner. While groin shots are never "un-felt" conciousness is not lost and most good fighters recover more quickly and tend not to be bothered as much by them. A well trained, tough student will be more surprised than truly paralyzed and will most certainly take some quick, definitive action rather than be kept in a vulnerable situation like that.

I have large nuts, so I understand the dilemma. It seems like I'm always bumping into something or accidentally sitting on one of my nuts. I guess I've learned to live with the pain, but also to steer clear of danger signs. My nuts send a neurological/ radar warning sign to my brain that causes me to move away from situations in which they might get hurt.
Having been kicked repeatedly in that area when I was in elementary school, I learned at a young age that it is possible to live with it and shake it off like it's nothing.
Like a boxer, a person who takes a beating in the nuts over and over learns to live with it, but also how to avoid it.

Also, there is a reason why it hurts. Your body is telling you that you should protect that area, not take shots voluntarily to the region. We're talking about jewels here, family jewels.

with the right conditioning, I'm sure that you can.. why you would want to is a different story. My teacher use to tell us back in the old days, when the student would get their black belts, the last part of the test would be to take a full shot to the nuts.

purely placed if it exceeded off it could happen. The trauma to the muscle and bone on the groin area is comparable to to e.g. a leg, the blood clot, pollutants from the crush harm attain the heart and posion the equipment, marvel and dying stick to. The testes are so sensative to make the owner shelter them subsequently the species can procreate.

Well one to the goolies usually means a lot of pain. maybe not unconsciousness or paralysis but definately a lot of pain. If for some reason you're worried that someone during the course of your day to day affairs is going to make an attempt on your nads I'd say wear a cup.

I saw this martial arts expert on TV one day and he took a hit to the groin and acted like he didn't feel a thing! How he did it, I'm not sure but maybe with enough practice you could learn to ignore the pain as well. GOOD LUCK!:)

You can just wear a cup

There is actually an easy way to not feel much pain from an upward groin shot but it is an ancient secret

I dunno, I am notorious for "accidentally" kicking people in the nuts during sparring, especially if i am tired and fatigued.

but I guess over time you can try conditioning them, first start hitting them lightly and gradually build up pressure so you can jump off a 2 story building and land on a railing with your well conditioned nuts?
