But, really none of these two. I like someone assertive, not aggressive nor passive. Someone with knowledge of cars would be a beneficial asset. Vehicles are major investments next to a house.
I'd want an honest salesman, especially if there are children involved in the family for safety and reliabilty...

I'm a car guy and I've done all the car shopping for my family and friends for the last 10+ years, and I have met only one salesperson like that.
Most were useless, some were liars and some were downright scumbags.
