Isn't it considered fornication if two people who aren't married live together? So, in the interest of the souls of thousands of homosexuals, shouldn't we demand that they be granted the right to marry. You know, in the interest of saving their mortal souls?

Fornication is when two people who are NOT married have SEX. Where they live has nothing to do with it. And the act of having sex with someone you are not married to does not keep your "soul" from being "saved". What keeps your soul from being saved is deny the existance of God and not accepting Him. That's it. Simple as that.

If we are talking about the Christian faith, homosexual sex is a sin. But that sin is no different that any other kind of sin. All sin prevents us from having a full relationship with God but sin, by itself doens not keep us from joining him in heaven when we die.

Granting homosexuals the right to marry will have no bearing on their "soul" status. What matters is their realationship with God.

It will however make divorce lawyers everywhere happy. Now they will have even more opportunity to make money on gay divorce too!

Anyone cohabitating is living in sin. Why pick on the gay people about it?

This is one of the things that threatens to split US Anglicans from their English foundations.

The first openly gay, living with his lover, Anglican bishop was confirmed back in 2003. Gene Robinson.

Both the Anglicans and the Lutherans are looking to bless such unions, since actual marriage is a major no-no. However, it looks like Rt. Rv. Robinson may actually get his marriage after all.

Most denominations have a ceremony for blessing a civil marriage. Such blessings make them acceptable in the eyes of said churches.

God said that man lying with man as with woman is an abomination. God won't sanctify a homosexual marriage.
Heterosexual couples are commiting a sin if they are having sex before marriage. According to the God of the Holy Bible.

Yes they are, and yes we should let them marry, or legally bond or whateverthehell they decide to call it...but , Atheists, don't knock Sin. It ads a certain spice and wonderful flavor to everything. I'm living in sin with my, as far as I'm concerned wife, but the church would say we're living in *SIN*.

Adds so much fun...I'm having a naughty thought about her...*bing* one more sin...or is that several, I loose track of all the ins and outs of the legalisms of sin...

So, to all you judgmental Xians. Go suck an egg, let them marry if they want, if God doesn't like it, it's *HIS* power to judge, *NOT* some smug, self righteous, bigoted, Thug with a Bible.

or...Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

It is not sin to cohabitate. What is sinful is to commit acts of sexual immorality. Sexual immorality is having sexual out the confines of a marriage which consists of one man married to one woman. As such acts of homosexuality, along with bestiality and incest, are all acts of of sexual immorality regardless of whether the government condones their behavior or not.

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

for my area in case you act like a business enterprise then you could desire to conform with the guidelines that govern companies. once you act like a business enterprise yet prefer to be dealt with like a church then forget approximately it. you're the two a minnow or a shark yet you're no longer the two on a similar time. you may no longer morph decrease to and fro from one to the different while it fits you. So if a Catholic adoption provider chooses to hide under the regulations of the Catholic church, then it has to flow all in. So, i assume this suggests it would not settle for babies from non Catholic families and it could in uncomplicated terms place babies in Catholic families. it could could desire to have interaction in its operations in a manner that helps Catholic doctrine and dogma. of course merchandising and marketing babies to non Catholics would not be in compliance.

No. Is there a reason anyone should change the laws of the land so that everyone can be saved? That's the dreaded separation of church and state that people CLAIM they abhor so much. Unless, apparently, it works in their favor.

Technically, according to the Bible, just living together is not a sin. It does say in Deuteronomy, however, that "No man shall have sexual relations with another man. God hates this." So, it is only if they have sex, that they are sinning.
