I say or-range, Floor-i-da, for-est, sir-rup, and I'm from San Diego, California. In reality, there are probably many more variations that just those however, but regional pronunciation is fun, isn't it :) (I'm a linguistics major, I get excited about strange things)

Orange: Or-range

Florida: Floor-i-da (though i sometimes drop the 'i' sound)

Forest: for-est

Syrup: Sir-rup

I'm from upstate New York. But if you go down to long island then many people say the words opposite of how i said 'em. or atleast, people that i know do (half my family lives there)

Or-range,
Floor-ida,
For-est,
Sir-rup.

I grew up in Washington, currently living in Idaho.

BTW, my brother pronounces it "Warsh-ing-ton", but I pronounce it "Wash-ing-ton". Don't know how that happened. Also, my husband is a native of north Idaho, and he pronounces "bag" as "bayg", and "drag" as "drayg". Also, he says things like "These clothes need washed" instead of "These clothes need to be washed".

Our fun words are:
Can't-- I say it: can-t He says it: cain-t
The name Jerry: I say Jair-ee He says Jur-ee
Louisiana: I say Lou- ee-z-anna He Says Looz- yanna

Interesting how different we speak.
