I was alone on a Martian looking landscape. Pillars shot out of the ground, hundreds of feet high, and took the form of demons. I stood there screaming "Leave demons I do not want you, I'm a magnet pulling in your evil". Then the whole planet started changing into a volcanic landscape, with demons everywhere. Any ideas what this means?

. The martian plane represents a barren and unfruitful place. The demons turning into pillars symbolized something which seems maybe exalted in your eyes and strong. The whole planet turning into volcanic landscape represents your life about to be tested by fire. Wow. sounds like a warning from God. Even your comment that you are a magnet pulling in their evil, suggests that you have doors open in your life which have allowed these demons access to your life.

I always consider what I may have seen on TV, or what stories I might have heard earlier in the day that may have caused the dream first. If none of those things factor in, I usually look at where I am in my life and whether I'm happy with it. For example, roads, houses and certain places indicate where I'm at in my life. If I dream of being in a big house that's falling apart, I may feel unsatisfied with my job, or the direction I'm going. Dreams are tricky, you really have to get to know yourself to interpet them well. I don't think a standard explanation covers every individual and their dreams.
