4.3 billion years ago the earth was formed.
As it cooled it developed a hard rocky crust.
It rained on the ROCKS for millions of years.
It formed soup.
Amino acids formed in the soup.
The "soup" came alive and began to evolve.
All living things we see today evolved from the soup that came from rained on rocks.
So do you believe you evolved from a rock?

And yes out of that life all life on Earth came forth. Including you.
I dont have to believe it. The evidence speaks for itself.

Seriously, think about the Earth forming from particles created in a supernova blast... Isn't that even less believable?

I think Father Guido pretty much summed it up, but I can certainly see why people would find a sky-fairy more believable than amino acids. After all, it isn't as though amino acids have been proven to exist, is it? Yark, yark, yark!

Umm... by that narrow definition, yes. We all came from rocks.
But just because you don't BELIEVE something, doesn't make it untrue.
BTW, is this the "Argument from Incredulity" logical fallacy I've heard so much about?
"I can't believe X is true, therefore X is false."
