pro's and cons of Nose pierceing?

what are the pro's and the cons of getting your nose pierced?

in my opinion, there are only pros associated with nose piercings...i have one myself, i had it done about 6 years ago & luv it!!! the only con would be if u work somewhere that prohibits it, which could be a bummer...solution: get another job!!!

Well, the obvious cons are the way people are reacting on here. I have my nose pierced and it's really cute. My employers are fine with me having it (most places draw the line at eyebrows and lip, nose piercings are usually fine). It's an easy piercing to take care of, as long as you leave it alone during the healing period. Studs are pretty cheap, pretty cute, and easy to put in once you're used to them.

Cons: Some ignorant people will judge you, it can get infected like any other piercing, if you take it out there may be a small scar, it costs money to get it done.

That being said, I love mine, and it never has been an issue with employment. Go for it if you want one!

Pros are that there are different types of rings - studs and screws - and you can pick whichever is most comfy. The look is cute and maintainable, and subtle.
Cons are that many places of business do not allow facial piercings, risk of infection (you must be diligent about cleaning), and pain. Cartilage is the most painful thing to pierce. If you have a high pain tolerance, this isn't such a concern. ( Also: If the piercing becomes infected, you shouldn't remove the ring. This can close the infection inside the body, allowing it to spread. Not such a good thing so close to your brain!)

Pros: you probably think it looks cool, it's another place to show off an earing.
Cons: It can get infected easily, what happens if you have a runny nose? You have to spend a lot of your time cleaning and caring for it.

they are lovable an low upkeep. Mine has under no circumstances gotten contaminated, i've got had it for fairly much 4 years. You do could confirm you preserve it particularly sparkling in the commencing up. It hurts slightly. that is summer time, and you're actually not meant to swim with it. Um... in case you don't love it, you are able to purely take it out and it would not particularly pass away a scar or mark. purely a tiny dot. each and every so often employers do in comparison to them, however. And yeah, i think of it may look superb on you. =)

It looks really cute. I just had mine done an I loved it but being that every night my nose ring would come out I had grown a bump inside my nose and it stayed swollen. Which led me to taking it out. There were many times when I had to reopen it and that hurts like H E L L! But if you do get it (or have it) and you move your head alot when you are asleep then sleep with a band-aid over it.

if you have a straight sharp nose, it will look better. when you get it, keep turning the stud everyday so it would get stuck. my aunt got one, and it got veryyyy infected and so swollen that she couldnt get the stud out when it was hurting. she went through hell with it and regretted the fact that she got one. thats the con.

pro's-aggreing with the first comment, looks good as an adolesent, also really small studs can look sexy on a female

cons- looks kinda trashy as an older woman, can scar your nose.

con: infections are brutal, and pretty nasty looking.
older people will judge you (sad but true)

pro: I think it looks cool!

maybe try clip on one or magnetic. i know it sounds dumb, but they make good ones now, and the normal person wouldnt ever know!
