I drove until I could no long fit behind the wheel and reach the pedals 32 weeks... Considering I am only 5'2" tall it was a miracle I could reach the pedals that long...
As long as you can reach the pedals and are having no problem (black outs, dizzy spells, etc.) that could make driving dangerous you can drive up to delivery Although you should not attempt to drive yourself to the hospital while in labor.. After delivery take a week or so off driving as it can be uncomfortable stretching and such...

There are no legal laws as to when a woman ought to stop driving a car while pregnant, however, there are some moral laws about it, as well as risks.
My coworker just lost her sister to a car accident. She was 6 months pregnant, and was hit head on. They baby was killed instantly, and she passed a week later.
She was a good driver, never had a ticket in her life, she was hit by a drunk driver w/o a license. Just because you think you are a safe driver, doesn't mean those around you are as well. Bad drivers exsist everywhere.
The doctor said if she were a passenger in the accident, there may have been a higher chance of survival on her end due to the distance between her body and the dash (the power of the airbag would have had less impact). She would have lost the baby either way. She leaves behind a husband in the military, and two young children.
When it comes to driving while pregnant, please do not be ignorant, think of your baby's safety and your own.
If you doubt your driving, or are unsure of driving, let someone else drive you.

If you have swelling or some other complication towards the end of your pregnancy then prolonged trips, (where you are in the same position for extended periods) can be a problem but otherwise its safe to drive while pregnant. Check the link out below.

I drove up until I started having contractions. It is important to wear your seat belt the right way but there is no cut off really. It just isn't safe to drive with contractions because I know it made me tense up and I would lean on the gas too much. It would have caused problems.

You can drive a car the entire time you're pregnant. I drove myself to the hospital when I was induced, even. (And my baby was over 11 pounds-- I was HUGE.) Just position the lapbelt low, under your belly.

Oh, my...
I rode a ski-doo after my due date...
I drove myself into the hospital for delivery...
My kids came out totally fine.
ALWAYS wear a seat belt, no exceptions!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, if you are too big in the belly to fit in the car or some health problems related to the pregnancy, ask the doc

not sure, i've been told different things about this. i have been told that you shouldn't drive after your 8th month, so if you get dizzy or go into labor someone else will be driving. but, i know others who have been driving during their whole pregnancy. i think it mainly depends on how you are and how your pregnancy is going.

When she's in labor!
Any other time is OK, just make sure the lap part of the belt goes under the tummy.
