When you are working out is it better to do cardio before or after weight lifting?

I say second... Although I read in Muscle Mag this month "do it first" I say second because lifting with heavy weights burns more calories and takes more concentration than running/walking/biking... So your concentration should be on what burns the most calories. I like to warm up on the bike or with a run for 10 minutes, stretch, workout with weights, then hit the cardio...

If you do cardio first, you could actually get too loose when lifting with weights, this could be dangerous. Also, not having 100% awareness with weights is dangerous as well, and after running for 45 minutes, it's difficult to concentrate.

It is best to do the cardio before and after lifting weights. It's a good warmup before your workup and it's also a good cool down for your work out as well.
