I saw a cute idea in Parent's magazine. They took cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon and used a small heart shaped cookie cutter to cut the melon pieces into hearts and then put them on a craft stick like a kabob. They used plain yogurt with 1 Tbs. orange juice concentrate and 1 Tbs. honey mixed in as the dip.

Check with teachers for allergy/religious issues first. That said, if no such issues I have always done well with a mix of "gorp" type stuff (m 'n m's, pretzels, raisins etc.-- in pre-measured out snack baggies-- 'cause there's always *something* in there different finicky kids will like.) keep age in mind-- toddlers need non-choking hazards, like grapes that are all cut into bits, or cherrios. More leeway with older kids. Totally naughty snack my big boys like-- mixed cocopuffs and lucky charms in a baggie. Big sugar high... low-salt craker mix a healthier but less popular variant. Also broght mixed boxes of chewy granola bars in when time pressed.

Oven S'Mores...

Spread Graham crackers (one layer) evenly on a baking sheet. Place a few chocolate chips on each one and bake just to melt. Put a "dollop" of marshmallow fluff on each one and another Graham Cracker on top. You can refrigerate these too.

Don't put it in the microwave though - that will burn the chocolate and make the crackers soggy.

I made them for my daughter's preschool class 10 years ago and they loved them.

Why not make some biscuits with funny faces on them. ie buy arrowrout biscuits or make your own and ice them in different colours then cut snakes in 1/2 lengthways for mouth & m&m's or smarties for eyes.. My kids love then and even enjoy helping me.... Good luck...

How about a paper bag filled with a small bag of chips, a juice pouch, and a fruit rollup? I do it all the time.
