National Rifle Association, They deal with guns. Since I was a hunter I knew about the NRA I used to read about different things in my Fathers NRA Magazines, there are different "headlines" if you will in there and you find out about so much that is going on with gun rights, who can have a gun, and how the actual founder of the NRA feels about "guns kill people" or is it "people kill people" ya know things like that but if you want to be a member go to www.nra.org to sign up for the magazine.

Its the National Rifle Association. They do help protect your rights to own and use firearms. Having said that, and I am a member, they also send you requests for money about 20 times a year. All the request are listed as urgent and your rights are being taken away, etc.

They must spend millions sending out requests for money( and phone calls where they push pretty hard).

They should raise the cost of membership and stop dunning everyone every 3 weeks for more money. Maybe they should learn to use the money more wisely. Like not sending out so much mail. Possibly not paying people to make calls for them.

The organization means well, but with all the sales pitch, it gets hard to see that. ( Along with not being cost effective)

Having said that, I will stay a member but I dont send money every time they ask or I'd have to get another job paying about 10 K a year to keep them happy and not mail me anything else.

Just a wild guess: since this is in the hunting section rather than the history or the politics section, I'm thinking National Rifle Association rather than National Recovery Act.
