That's what I've always heard.
Must be true because I've seen a couple who had lost it.
Guess they forgot how to use it.

I have not ridden a bike in a few years, but I bet I could jump on one and wheelie down the street.

Well, I don't know what "it" is referring to, so I won't answer that, but I do know that the USUAL saying is: "if you don't use it, you'll lose it." "Lose" and "loose" are two different things! "Loose" is the opposite of "tight".
