Lucifer.
Isaiah 14:12-15
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Because of the personificaion parrallel with Lucifer, most think that was Satan during his pre-evil life.
That's not so. No one knows, for it is not recorded in the Bible.
Lucifer, in some translations is used for the Hebrew word heh·lel´, “shining one.” Heh·lel´ is not a name or a title but, rather, a term describing the boastful position taken by Babylon’s dynasty of kings of the line of Nebuchadnezzar.) (Isa 14:4-21)
Again, no one knows Satan's angelic name.
Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

ADDED: BTW - Lucifer was a Roman deity of light comparable to Prometheus. The Christians, by making Lucifer Satan (they're two seperate entities folks!) were attempting to leave the religion of the Romans behind them and to turn surviving non-converted Roman polytheists into enemies of the State.

Some believe that it was Lucifer, meaning "Light Bringer, or Light bearer". Lucifer is also an old name for the Morning Star, the planet Venus, ironically also a title given to Christ.

He has many different names in many cultures. To know which 1 it truly is, u must know what language was the first language on earth because he was cast here before the languages were separated.

Satan hasn't been kicked out of heaven yet.
The Book of Revelation predicts the war in heaven in which Satan will be cast out. It hasn't happened yet.
Revelation 12
Look all you thumbs downers --- the Book of Revelation says what it says and if you actually open your Bible's for once you will see that the Seventh Trumpet is blown in Revelation 11 and then the war in heaven occurs in Revelation 12. That's when the Dragon - the devil - gets booted with 1/3 of the angels. I'm not making it up.

They say it was Lucifer, but Lucifer is another deity taken from another belief before the religion of christianity. Lucifer translates into Light bearer and means Morning Star. Many such borrowed ideas are found within the book.
