Does he fish with a bow and arrow? If he owns a bow you can buy special barbed arrows and other goodies for spear fishing. I know where i live you can spear carp , sturgeon, and I believe suckers certain times of the year. then he can have the best of both worlds. shooting fish is awesome the arrow sticks in then you just reel them in. the arrows cost about 15.00. I believe you can get reels that mount on his bow I just have a buddy with a broken pole and an open faced reel. but anyhow it's a thought.

If he loves to hunt & fish you might concider a membership to The Huntn & Fishn Club. He will get a magazine and DVD every month. He will be entered in numerous raffles including the Ultimate annual raffle for a chance to win his choice of an all expenses paid safari in Africa or a Costa Rica deep sea fishing trip. Upon return from the trip he will receive a Chevy Pickup to drive for a one year lease. Many other benefits to being a club member. Only $19.95 + $3 SH per month. Just get him started he will love it...... Otherwise maybe a gift card to Huntn & Fishn Biz will do the trick. Go online to my website for information on The Huntn & Fishn Club or to purchase a giftcard or hunting and fishing products for your special guys special day. The website is: www.huntn.biz/7869

Seems how hes an outdoor guy try a ThermaCELL Mosquito Repeller. You can get them from any sporting goods store and they work excellent. If he hunts, get the camo one made for hunting with the hunting fuel as it doesnt give off a scent.

I have used these for years now and I can tell you they are the single most effective item Ive ever had. They also work on other insects.

Heres a link to one so you know what Im talking about. I would suggest buying the holster aswell.
