No you do not. The federal government requires that ALL public schools give you the option to sign a form that states that because of your religious OR philosophical reasons you choose not to have your child vaccinated.

FYI-mercury was the preservative that was once used in all vaccines. Now, supposedly the only one that is still used in on a regular basis is the flu vaccine. Mercury sits in your body until you die. You do not pass it out, you can not flush it out. Mercury builds up and everyones tolerance level is different, but if enough is present it will cause neurological damage.

If vaccines are so safe for our children, why does the federal government have a fund set up for victims of childhood vaccines. Check out the CDC website, you can find it there.

If I knew then, what I know now then my children would not have recieved most of the vaccines given.

I do not think that it is legal mandated that parents have their children vaccinated. I do think that most public school required certain vaccines, but for the most part it is up to the parent. I know that Military dependents don't have a choice. I have my children vaccinated just because I figure a day of being uncomfortable is worth preventing something a lot more uncomfortable.

I vaccinate the two. A puppy proprietor is legally to blame and required to get mandated vaccinations (rabies being the main nicely known one). Granted, if the proprietors don't have their animals authorized interior the direction of the county, i assume they might get away with it. regardless of the shown fact that, with that suggested, they greater advantageous be careful and desire their animal isn't in contact in a combat or turns into loose as they might get in hardship for no longer being vaccinated. Vaccinating babies is starting to be greater of a private decision, regardless of the reality that still heavily recommened and counseled. this is not unlawful to no longer vaccinate your babies nevertheless.

No you do not...Boy, I just love how some of these people didnt lecture you! Whatever...There are exemptions for personal/religious reasons. I use them! Most of the vaccines these days are made from an aborted fetus...That goes against my personal and religious beliefs!!!
They can get into any school with this exemption!

I think that you have to do what you believe is best for your child. Personally I vaccinate because of a little girl that attended my child's school that died of chicken pox.

To me the risk of them getting a disease and not living through the illness outweights my fear of vaccinations.

I hope you figure out what is good for your family.

Good luck!

Hey I think that she asked not to be lectured. Let's not be rude and just try and be helpful.

No you are not required by law to have your child vaccinated, however if you chose to put your child in the public school system then you will have to. Whether or not you do is up to you as their parent. I chose to myself because I feel the benefits outweigh to side effects, but that was my choice as his parent.

If you plan on home schooling then the choice is completely yours.

ok. all of my children have been vaccinated, but only through my personal choice. i thought about what would be worse...dying of something related because i tried to help their lives, or dying because i didn't help them? every one (including me) will tell you it's the right thing to do, but ultimately, you are the parent and it is you who has to make that decision.

Depends on local law, I'd think-- but here in MN, you either have to do it, of have an official statement on file (there is a form) saying you object for religious reasons, or whatever. I know someone who did this, her kid is in 6th grade now in MPLS, and has never had a single shot.

i dont have my kids vaccinated and for school all i had to do was get a waiver from my school district. the nurse just hasseled me today about getting my 9 month old his shots, i said that i dont want the government telling me that i need to shoot viruses into my children while theyre telling me that trace amounts of mercury are safe, when it NEVER leaves your body and its only the second most toxic substance known right under plutonium. even the ones marked mercury freeare allowed to contain trace amounts. no thanks.

i think it's required by law for a child to be vaccinated if they are attending school, unless there is some kind of religious reason that prohibits it.
