it doesn't have mental health problems, your friend has just been a poor owner who hasn't trained it properly.
if she doesn't want it anymore, just take it to the local humane society shelter and let them deal with it...

It doesn't have mental health issues and drowing is one of the worst ways to go how cruel. Just give it to the RSPCA or dog's trust and they will find a home for it. German Shepherd dogs are very itelliagent and need a lot of mental stimulation. He's only 3 years old he is a baby and still very puppish, no vet would put it down and would get reported if drowned in bath!

So sorry to here about the troublesome mutt. If you do decide to drown it in the bath I wonder if you would consider sending me the carcass or even just the skin. It will come off quite easily if you boil the dog for a few minutes. I am a specialist musical instrument maker and I am making some animal congas. Basicaly I just stretch the skins across the frame leaving the head and legs and tail dangling. This makes for a unique looking instrument. I already have tiger and oscelot congas and am hoping to acquire snow leopard in the near future. If you can send me your pet`s skin I will be happy to send you a photo of the finished product as a momento. Regards Don

That's just sick!!!! Take it to the vet. What is wrong with a three year old dog that makes it so ill? Or is your friend ill because she doen't like the dog? Try the Humane Society!! I NEVER heard of a dog with mental health problems!!! EDIT: By the way tell her never to get another dog!!!

You must be joking right? Please tell me your joking!
This type of do is hyper, it doesn't need to be an inside dog all of the time, it needs to have room to run and join a life outside, as well as a life with its owner treating it with love and respect. It's a dog, what does your friend expect, for it to set in the corner all day?!? Have your friend take the dog to a shelter before you put it in her/his mind that they need to kill it, there's bound to be someone that is responsible enough that will show up at the shelter to get a dog, and they'll adopt this innocent dog, and love and care of it like they would their own child!

It doesn't have mental health problems, it needs training.
And drowning a dog on purpose is illegal.
I suggest finding a home for the dog. It sounds bored and it sounds like your friend can't give the dog what it needs. If all else fails, give it to the shelter.

let me see here...your friend has to make sure she is awake every afternoon for the postman...
did it occur to you that the afternoon is called that way, because its 'after noon' which means your friend is very probably a very lazy, mentally insufficient person enough to wak in the 'morning' and work or do school....
the dog probably has problems cause its owner has issues...killing the dog is not taking care of the perpetrator of problems...i suggest drowning the owner...

99.9% of problems with dogs is something to do with the owner, which in this case i believe its true, who sleeps in the afternoon? and to drown an innocent animal, where do i start? there are plenty of rescue centres such as RSPCA, PAWS, SAD, Dogs Trust etc i think you have mental problems, not the dog! The dog doesn't need to be put to sleep, it needs to be trained, trying watching an episode of "its me or the dog" with Victoria Stilwell or buy her book.

First the dog does not have a mental illness. He has BOREDOM!!!!
When she can't be right with him, she needs to have him in a crate for his size. Shepard's are very intelligent animals and need to be stimulated.
If she can not take care of him she needs to take him to a shelter. To even think about drowning him is cruel!

I hope this is a prank, even if it is you are suffering mental problems. If you would do something so heartless to a dog I'm sure you have no concern for a human life either.
How could you even think such a thing?
