If you became an athiest and then realized that you need God, and ask for His forgiveness and accept Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior, then live your life for God, He would forgive you! But, it's not right to become an athiest for a while then just go to God because you think that you can get away with sinning.

If you became an atheist, there would no longer be a god whose forgiveness you need. End of story.

If you're wondering about whether "God" would forgive you for 'becoming' atheist, then you aren't atheist, so the question is nonsensical. An atheist does not concern him or herself with that, so...

Well, what are you now? God always allows U-turns. I've had times of unbelief in my own life, but God is patient and loving. If you're not an atheist, why would you become one? If you are an atheist, why would you care what God thought.

The supreme deity doesn't CARE if you worship it or not. It is a natural part of the universe and its sentience is beyond our understanding of sentience. You cannot seperate yourself from the natural universe. It's impossible. But that has nothing to do with your beliefs, or individual thoughts or whatnot. So you're safe. There's nothing to be forgiven for. People can forgive people. Gods aren't people. I think that's what Christianity fails to understand.

before you become an atheist, you need to get it through your mind that no matter what you do in your life, a rock is more likely to be pissed off at you than "god". dont become an atheist if you have doubt in your mind

God forgives those who repent. but of course, that requires change added on to a sincere "sorry". I wouldn't advice becoming one though
