I have worked so hard for this company but my job really cant show proof of my hard work and being that it is such a big company they barely see my effort lately I have been really upset and all with wanting more responsibilities at work and I know I can handle it but no one here sees that their all happy making great money and have good jobs the more positions that open up the more excuses they give for giving them to other people I do not understand why this keeps happening to me i feel like im gonna lose it any day now. I have tried to email my resume to lots of other jobs and have had no luck only get responses from recruiters I am soo drained and feel like I keep getting pushed back here what should I do??

Sounds like you need to look for a different job before you burn out totally.

Might also be worth talking to your supervisor, and asking what you have to do to get promoted.

Good luck.

I'm sorry! :( That's awful...it could be any number of things, and it could just be that this company is shady and is too lazy to really look at your potential. The job market is really tough right now which is why you may be having trouble finding another job. If you want I can take a look at your resume to see if there is anything you could improve upon! I work for a staffing agency in DC and I format and fix resumes all day long. There may be a few minor changes you can make to really get noticed. Also, if you are superunhappy, try out one of those temp agencies! I was in a similar situation and quit my job, and went to work as a temp. It took a few tries, but I found a place that was a good match for me, and they hired me permanently, which happens a lot. good luck! e-mail me if you'd like resume help.

Pick one of the head hunters and talk to them. Honestly tell them what you would like to be doing and for what type of company. Ask them what fields they specialize in and what companies they work with the most. I know it can be very disappointing when you apply for what looks like the perfect job only to find it is a head hunters net for snagging resumes but turn that into a positive and get them working for you.

Never pay a head hunter fee yourself, if a company wants you they will pay and if a head hunter really thinks he or she can find you a job they don't need money up front. Remember once a company makes this kind of investment they have incentive you make sure it works out.

Good luck find a job you can enjoy

get another job
Hopefully, one that does not require grammar or punctuation.
