Are these verses taken out of context? Or can they be used as evidence?
Christ organized the Church (Eph 4:11-14)
Must bear the name of Jesus Christ (Eph 5:23)
Must have a foundation of Apostles and Prophets (Eph 2:19-20)
Must have the same organization as Christ's Church (Eph 4:11-14)
these came from "Luv&rock" in my previous question... I thought they were very interesting... I'm just not sure if they are ligit or not...

Since the first witnesses to these words went and obeyed them I think that we have a lot of corroboration here.

He's correct that Jesus Christ founded the Church and that it has an apostolic foundation, but there are some other elements he missed such as:
1. The Church will be guided by the Holy Spirit in her dogmatic pronouncements (Matt 16:18, Matt. 10:20; Luke 12:12, Matt 28:20 and many other verses). With Jesus Christ present in the Church, she can never be deceived.
2. The Church will have a visible head on Earth - the Bishop of Rome, the Pope (Jer. 33:17 , Dan 2:44, Acts 1:20, Matt 16, John 21:15-17; Luke 22:31-32 and many other verses)

That sounds correct to me as the Organization of Jesus' Church. Previous posters are wrong, there is another church which has one central leader who is not a God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka Mormons), has a prophet who leads the church. He also has twelve apostles who support him. There are also Missionaries, who bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to anybody who will accept it.

Christ did not "set up" His Church during is earthly Ministry... The Church was commissioned on the day of Pentascost following His Ascention to Heaven. Jesus came to minister to The Jews who are God's chosen people... it was because the Jews rejected Him that He Commissioned The Church so that all could come to God without having to become Jews as it was under The Law.

the evidence is actually in the OT, somewhere in one of those dreary law-giving-out books like "Leviticus" or something, where they say how many tassels a priest has to wear and such.
then it is corroborated in the NT where Christ says: "I have not come to do away with the law, not one iota of the Law will be changed" or some such quote.+
This all has to do with the deportment and treatment of the "Holy of Holies". The Tabernacle, if you will.

It has a single leader, (Jesus)
It had Disciples,
that were sent forth to preach the Gospel to everyone (You and I)
Kinda like the Catholic Church does.
The Pope is our single leader, (But he is not a God and we do not worship him)
The Catholic Church is the only one that has a single Leader and a complete book exactly explaining our beliefs. (Catechism of the Catholic Church)
Peace and God Bless!

Yes they are legitimate...
Thank you Kiasister(above answer), but also remember that the prophet is guided by the Savior who is one in purpose with God the Father... so the LDS church is led by Christ... it is his church.

You are members of God's very own family, citizens of God's country, and you belong in God's household with every other Christian. The Bible knows nothing of solitary saints or spiritual hermits isolated from other believers and deprived of fellowship. The Bible says we are put together, joined together, built together, members together, heirs together, fitted together, and held together and will be caught up together.

the Church is in your heart. Now, have you built a relationship with God as you understand him? Good then you are the Church, as Christ is.

The bible does not "give evidence", it tells lies. Christianity is pagan based, and plagiarized mythology. http://www.medmalexperts.com/POCM/getting_started_pocm.html
