Well, I have heard there are Atheist Clubs, and Freethinker's Clubs. But believe it or not, some Atheists actually attend Unitarian congregations (they do not actually like to call them churches, so I hear). But my wife and I were once members of a large Unitarian "church" and it had some atheist members, as well as gays. Coming out of fundamentalist Baptists, we were pretty astonished.

what are you talking about ?

why would be gather and/or hold meetings.. ? why would we or anyone go to meetings to talk about how and why we dont believe in god.

Atheist dont have anything in common.. other then *not believing* .. its not a religion.. we dont have a book we go by. We are all very different from eachother..

It would be the same if i asked you ...if you go to meetings to discuss why you dont believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I am in NO way trying to degrade your god and relate him to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I'm just trying to prove a point

good luck

Atheists don't cluster together. We believe in the strength of the individual, to make decisions, to lead their lives, to understand the world.

There's absolutely no point in us having "meetings" - we're not a religion and no-one likes church anyway.

Why would a bunch of atheists have to have meetings? Atheists do not need the social acceptance that you need to survive.
Let it go.

This isn't a club, you know. We're not trying to be the "cool rebel set" with t-shirts and bumper stickers, and emblems and rule books.

Grow up.

No meetings. We actually have the intelligence to make up our own minds about things rather than having all decisions made for us

Such clubs exist but they are for atheists who choose to interest themselves in such things. I just choose to disbelieve end of story.
