the way you get rid of them is, this may sound kinda gross but it does not hurt. Have your dad or mom use a professional surgical knife to cut the wart off. my dad has one since he is a doctor. next if you see tiny little black dots you must get them out, that is the actual virus if you don't, it will just grow right back. put it in a band aid for a couple days and then the cut will heal and no more wart. I am not sure where they come from though. good luck!!!

If you have persistent warts, they can professionally burn them off--yes, it does hurt and you may need pain meds. The Dr. Scholl's stuff didn't work for me, but check to see what your doc charges for wart removal, and how much your insurance will cover.

warts are caused by a virus, they do spread. Most doctors remove them by freezing them with liquid nitrogen. Dr. Scholl's makes a liquid nitrogen product now so you can do that for yourself.

I don't know where they come from, but this is weird, I lanced mine and rubbed a potato on it and it disappeared.
I am not telling anyone to lance anything, I am not a doctor and therefore incapable of giving medical advice.
